Description
Kiragi is the name given in Lesvos to the white ice that covers the earth on winter mornings, the frost that shimmers before the sun takes it. This image is highlighted by the scarf in its fabric. Cotton warps and cotton wefts, in various tones of white, intersect on the loom to form the distinctive plaid. It is made entirely of old DMC lace in various thicknesses, threads that are woven and brought back to life in our workshop. It combines the white of the ice and the warmth of the morning sun.
